The mighty GERS one up on the stroke of half time. Title 52 is within touching distance.

That loss puts Celtic in a tough position now.
Don`t want to make excuses for Celtic but really the display of refereeing was shocking.
It`s easy to have a go at referees, and I know some decisions are difficult and they happen so quickly and the ref has to make a decision. Also I know reffing at Ibrox can`t be easy.
But it`s the easy ones that they get wrong.
Like today, Thomson was down injured for 4 minutes, and there were 5 subs made. Under the simple regulation of 30 seconds per sub, that`s 6.5 minutes. Today they added on 3. That`s inexplicable. Jinny Cooney-esque. But at least Cooney didn`t have somebody on the sideline supposed to be counting these things.
Thomson`s dive across the box. Pathetic and surely something refs are told to clamp down on. When the ref tells him no penalty and to get up, it`s a no brainer, a yellow card for diving. And him already on a yellow. Besides not knowing the rules, what sort of message does that show?
I think the ref`s first instinct was to reach for the book and he seemed to put it away again.
Then the Brown penalty. Just because he tried to stay on his feet the ref felt a shot while falling over was a good advantage rather than the penalty the red card that should have followed.
So frustrating. There must be better out there.

6pts down now with a game more played, but two old firm games to come and both at Celtic Park, there is always a chance

The ref was a joke, one of the worst displays i`ve seen in a while... Celtic however are seriously lacking idea`s ,a lot of long balls lumped into the box with the hope of getting a lucky break.....first time in a long time i have watched an spl game and i can see it being a long time before the next one.....The mighty gers!! ha, yeah right!

Celtic didnt turn up for the 2nd half - thats not in doubt but we shouldnt lose sight of some key decisions
Brown - he should have went down and forced him to make a decision. Peno and a red. What happened next was farcical - the ball is a foot over the line for a corner but we get the yellow for protesting. The linesman was more at fault here
Thomspson was perilously close to a 2nd yellow after scoring but we know they dont get booked for celebrating
Its now offical - barry Ferguson cannot be booked under any circumstances. The precedent was set - he had even booked Thompson for the same offence but still Barry escapes censure - its just not funny anymore
Thompson should have got his 2nd yellow for a late tackle early in the 2nd half - ref bottled it
We then had a blatent dive and naylor ends up getting booked
Then Thompson (him again ) has a dive and Arthur gets booked.
3.5 mins of feigning injury and we get 3 mins added on - not to mention the subs.
Celtic were poor and big changes are needed (including WGS`s departure ) but the establishment have ensured that they are going to win this title by whatever means it takes. Thats the simple truth of the matter. Its easy to blame refs but we need to draw a distinction between a bad day at the office and cheating. Draw you own conclusions.

In fairness, Djamba Djamba would be a star in the SPL. SPL is bottom of the barrel. NO Celtic or Rangers player would make it in the Premiership, La Liga or Siera A. The league is dominated by two clubs 90% of who’s attendance are bigoted working class idiots who use football to channel their hatred.

Did anyone lock you into a room and make you watch it ? did anyone force you to come on here and moan about it ? Whether you approve or not there are plenty on here who are interested so why don`t you do what the majority of us do and ignore threads that you don`t care about.
Back to the point - ferguson is rubbish - I cant remeber him doing anything today except berate the ref

Excellent analysis Ice. All you can do is attack the ref. (the Dallas incident is coming back to me again ) and make comments of how crap Rangers players are. Why don`t you look at Celtic`s players first? Ferguson is on his way to a quadruple while Celtic will win nothing again this year.
And I do have the right to comment on Old Firm bigotry! Most Old Firm "fans" aren`t even interested in football. There are probably more Rangers and Celtic shirts at an Orange / Sein Fein March than at a football game. The Old Firm game is just an extention of this bigotry.

The begrudgery from the Celtic fans is something else. Take your beating and your medicine `Bhoys`. I suppose we can be thankful there was no violent backlash against the referee or Rangers supporters afterwards.
Walter Smith is some legend. Thats four wins out of four in Old Firms since his return and no goals conceded. Himself and Super Ally truly still have the Indian sign over Celtic. Ibrox legends.

bandage was great in writing a 200 word post and giving marks out of 10 for every Celtic player when they beat Milan and drew with Barca. Disappears though when the going gets tough - typical bandwagon fan I guess.

That Bandage is a nasty piece of work. You can read his views on today`s proceedings on his Free Kick website.

Xrated stuff. Youd hope for Bandages sake none of the Rangers players or their lawyers get a view of his libellous comments.
