I managed to give it 5 minutes. Terrible dross. Your man, the teacher , was obviously trying his best to be an Alan Partridge type of character - and failing badly. It made "Leave it to Mrs O'Brien" looking like Monty Python

I knew there would be a thread about this somewhere this morning.
I'm not one to normally give out about RTE. In general I find their programs fairly passable. Prosperity wasn't too bad. It could have been better but it did have a lot of good moments. I was a fan of Naked Camera. The Panel isn't bad.
But CHRIST ALMIGHTY... HOW IN THE NAME OF GOD DID THAT UTTER FACKING DROSS MAKE IT ONTO OUR SCREENS.
It was appaling. Utterly utterly utterly appaling. It was horrific. Teeth gratingly horrific.

Gave it 6 minutes then went reading. It made the Big Bow Wow look like Panorama.
Would leave the country if i had any involvement with that crap.

No it was a mish mash of worst bits of The Office/Alan Partridge/Fair City/Ros Na Rún combined with horse manure.
Words cant really describe how bad this was, a dark chapter in the history of our national broadcaster. Im not being over the top either.

What a crock of sh1te!!
We should stop paying the licence fee & demand some kind of value for money, horrendous programme.
They couldn't get their hands on WC coverage yet they could make this crap. Vastly different budgets I know but what a load of bull.

Watched it for a few minutes. It might have worked, theres a potentially decent comedy in the premise, but your man who played the teacher was just ridiculously over the top. He's destroted its chances already.

I know one of the guys behind it and really wanted to like it for his sake but it didn't have many redeeming features at all really.

I agree with formosa. I found myself laughing at it in places. Some really cringey moments but funny at the same time. I thought the Belarussian(sp?) with no English was quite funny. Potential to be v funny even though the teacher guy was a bit ott.

Agreed. The idea is a good one with good potential but the main actor is a pleb. Comedy needs to be in some way believable. His completely over the top performance made his character totally unbelievable.
Dan & Becs is pure muck too.
The panel was good too but James Cromwell did an awful amount of waffling. John Bishop is pretty annoying too

Its one of those odd programmes, can make you get up and go do the dishes one night and then its really good the next night.
The southsoider stereotypes are pretty spot on..

didn't see it but if Kilnaf#ckinskully is topping the ratings I wouldn't be surprised if it is a big hit.
Do people watch that sh$te only because Pat Short is in it and therefore have been brainwashed somehow into thinking it is funny.
