GAA sympathy on the death of Brian Óg Maguire RIP

Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Liam Ó Néill has offered his sympathies and those of the Association to the family of Brian Óg Maguire who passed away yesterday in a tragic work accident.

He said: “I offer my deep felt condolences to the Maguire family and Brian Óg’s wide circle of friends.

“The reaction to the terrible news tells you the high regard in which Brian was held and we can’t begin to imagine the loss he will be to his family and friends.

“His role both with recent All-Ireland winners Lisnaskea and the Fermanagh county team underlined his ability as a footballer and a young man and on behalf of the wider GAA family I sympathise with everyone who knew him, most notably his immediate family.”
